It's never over. never over the easy way, never over the hard way: Tanya's Earth seems fated to continuous warfare, greedy, cruel men rising armies to make war for dominance.
For power.
Learning that Yuri survived the destruction of his fortress was not that shocking. Learning that he had built his own time machine and was planning to win the war by changing the past, well... that was both unexpected and terrifying.

"Right." Tanya shoulders the door open, ignoring the startled looks from technicians and MP's at the sight of the commando leading the blonde woman to the front door. "The bastard is gone, and Einstein says his instruments are detecting fractures in the space-time continuum, whatever it means. We're literally running out of time."
"We have one of the Chronospheres here, and it looks like we can use it to go back in time after Yuri. The idea makes my head hurt, but... we have to risk it, or be wiped out. Totally." She pauses as a Sargent runs up to her, but gestures for the man to wait. "We need to divert power to the Chronosphere, to send back a strike force to alert... ourselves. But Yuri left troops behind to stop us. We're going across the bay to capture power lines and a couple power plants." Then she nods to the man.
"Ma'am, the troops are assembled and ready to go." He salutes and Tanya returns it.
