Operation: Tomb Raided

Mission Objective: destroy Yuri's Bio Reactors and rescue civilians.

Tanya paused, looking up at the darkening cloudless sky. The wind had shifted since noon, and the dust storm that was sweeping the high deserts to the east was now blowing out over the hidden camp. The sun, magnified by the haze, was a huge orange ball sinking past the horizon, at which she could almost look directly. The desert sand lay over everything, covering the soldiers in desert camouflage suits, hiding the small shelters they had left behind.
A half mile ahead, one of the Wonders of Antiquity lay in growing darkness, marred by the structures set upon and around it: Yuri's forces had quickly turned the ancient structures into a military base, dedicated to the research of more of the horrors the mad genius behind the past (and future) war. The commando scanned the terrain, with her range-finder binoculars, frowning.
"They have Brutes walking the perimeter, even with the storm." The sight of the gray-skinned 'soldiers' did not fail to make Tanya shudder in revulsion.
