Annabelle doesn't like waiting, but it is sometimes necessary. She checks her equipment one more time while waiting, more out of the need to do something than out of any doubt about its readiness.

"How do you think the others are doing in there?"

Bonzo doesn't have that much in the way of equipment. His set-to-stun blaster is on one hip, with all of his spare power packs along for the ride as well; his lightsaber is on the other hip. Given that he doesn't dare take that apart, he's left to fiddling with the blaster. And meditating...which is itself getting quite old.

"Well, I hope."

"As do I," Annabelle replies, solemn. She looks around for the rest of their group.

She's likely to end up coveting the lightsaber before today is over.

Bonzo sighs as he finishes fiddling with his blaster and re-holsters it. "I just want to get this over with." Waiting sucks.

On cue, Tanya's wrist-radio beeps once. "Diversion is starting, lets move. We should get a fix on the exact position of the bunker entrance in a few minutes... or we might have to duck back and call it a loss." The ball is rolling.

"Can't have that," Annabelle says with a sharp smile. "There's no such thing as fashionably late," she quips.

She's moving to follow Tanya's lead even as she speaks.

Bonzo nods, following the other two as they start up. "Finally..."

Sheer boredom and absolute terror, as the saying says.

The boredom will continue for a while, the trio moving in forced march, coordinates being updated while the systems on the Battle Lab are exploited. "We should find a concealed emergency exit soon... it will take us all the way to the core of the bunker." New coordinates arrive, and Tanya adjusts their heading again, this time... up. "Over there... and careful to be quiet, there should be patrols near."

Annabelle nods, her expression intent. She switches out her pistols for the combat knife, the quieter option.

She moves easily and silently over the ground toward the exit.

Bonzo switches to his lightsaber. He doesn't turn it on, but he does get it ready to go.

The climb is not too hard, after all his is a path to an emergency exit, and it seems the Reds keep most patrols from going directly there. Probably to not draw undue attention.

Up and over and sticking to the shadows...

The lack of soldiers is good for their purposes.

Annabelle climbs up and over, knife at the ready, just in case.

It's much the same with Bonzo. No enemies in sight is always good, and he'll take it, though a part of him is wondering why they haven't seen any patrols...

Probably because the patrols are busy elsewhere, courtesy of the other groups. "There. I will key in a special code used for entrance of the facility has been dominated by the enemy, courtesy of our friends at the Battle Lab." The door, painted in the same color as the rock, built under a rocky overhanging, is all but invisible from a distance.

"Anyone wearing blue or white should be incapacitated and captured. The rest, you dispose off any way you can. She uncovers the access panel and keys in the code; the door clicks, then slides inwards most silently, revealing a passage sloping downwards.

"Understood," Annabelle replies with a nod. She creeps through the door and moves down the sloping hall.

Bonzo nods acknowledgment. "Will do." And he's off behind Annabelle as well.

Tanya brings up the rear, closing the door behind: they reached the point of no return. "When I open the lower door, our way is to the left. Follow the green line on the floor, and quick, they will start locking up the moment we strike."

Annabelle nods, waiting for Tanya to open the door. Once it opens, she'll head left quickly.

It was nice of the builders to be helpful, with placing that green line on the floor like that.

Wasn't it? Bonzo's not going to doubt too much at this point, to be fair; he'll take an easy attack when he can get it. Still, this is just another bit of (extremely) nervous waiting.

Helpful, yes. But actually, helpful for the enemy defenders to move quickly around the installation.

They get to the lower end of the passage, Tanya draws one of her guns... and pulls the opening lever, shouldering the heavy door open and diving into the next room.

A half dozen very surprised guards turn around and scramble to ready their guns: the area ahead is a wide, high crossing of hallways, a hub of sorts, with armed soldiers and unarmed service people all stunned a moment by the invasion.

The guards are about to learn the hard way why freezing in a firefight is a bad idea.

Annabelle dives through the door after Tanya, rolling and bringing both pistols up to fire. Two guards go down with bullets between the eyes, their guns half un-holstered as their bodies hit the floor.

Another one of the guards somehow seems to stumble as he's getting to his feet, landing on a fourth, resulting in some comically misdirected fire. Never mind the sideways chopping motion Bonzo just made as he went over. As to numbers five and six, Bonzo is quickly running around the corner as he's been told to.

Five and six go down with bullets to the throat and head, then Tanya rol,ls to her feet to go after Bonzo. The conscripts are starting to recover and bullets will start flying in numbers soon.

Ahead, a couple technicians with more presence of mind are fiddling with the control panel of the blast doors, trying to close up the missile launch central.

We can't have that! Annabelle follows the other two, moving rapidly.

The technicians trying to close the doors are her targets once they come into sight. Two of them go down thanks to bullets through the side of their skulls.

Annabelle doesn't know what would happen if she damaged the control panel, after all.

More subtle action. Once Bonzo gets in sight of them and in range of them, he takes note of a conveniently-placed fire extinguisher behind one of the technicians, and suddenly triggers it. The confusion lets him run forward, ignite his lightsaber, and shove it into the control panel. He'll deal with side-effects later.

What he might need right now, however, is some backup: The lightsaber is coming up and around to deal with one of the technicians, but there are probably at least two still alive, and he can't put the thing in two places at once right now.
